DESCRIPTION:We announce the death of Vernice Robin aka N”urse Robin”\nAge: 97 of Marigot who resided at Goodwill\nShe died on Saturday, 25th April 2026.\nVernice Robin left to mourn numerous relatives, friends, neighbors and close associates including:\nChildren: Edgar and Cuthbert Robinson in Dominica and Rosmond DeRavariere in Tampa Florida.\nHer 20 grandchildren are include:\n Gregory Robinson, Donnie Robinson, Reginald Robinson, Tahj Robinson, Chanel Robinson, Toni Visor, Ian and Iyana  DeRavariere of Tampa Florida\nGreat grand and great grand children include:  Hassan Robinson of DBS Radio, Gabrielle Robinson, Bryce Robinson and Jelani Robinson, Asha Robinson\n Other relatives and friends neighbors:\nDecedents of the late Lorna James, Doris Musgrave, Anorme Robin, Garmon Robin, Delfa Prince, Paulie Robin of Marigot including:\nNeva Edwards, Juliette and John Lewis of Jays Books Store; Reginald Robin, Astor Robin, Dalworth Robin, Archison Robin, Gregory Robin, Lennon Robin, Carmaine Robin, Hubert Robin, Michael Robin; the Musgrave family of Marigot, Octalyn, Evalet, Denrick, Richlear, JJ and Ruff Musgrave;  Lucia and Rogerson Reviere, Edith, Judith, Peterson and Debra Prince.\nSpecial mention of close associates: Gerald Corbett and wife Joe of Portsmouth, Ken Robinson wife Eileen and family, Ophelia Linton, Stella Giddens, Caryl Laudat in the USA, and all her neighbors and close associates in Jepson Lane and Munro Street, Goodwill including special recognition of close neighbor and Pal Rep Miriam Blanchard and her entire Blanchard family. \nWe would like to say a special thank you to her caregivers: Denise Edwards and her wonderful caring team and Joyce, Henrietta, Emelda, Mandy, Bianca and those who paid special attention to during her time of need. And, the staff at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.  \nThe body of the late Vernice Robin aka Nurse Robin will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 9:00am on Saturday, 9th May 2026 at the Bethesda Methodist Church, Roseau. Funeral Service begins at 9:30am followed by interment at the Roseau Public Cemetery.\n \n \n
