Ursula Henry-Alie

We announce the death of 85-year-old Ursula Henry-Alie, affectionately known as “Mama”. She departed this life on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

She will be remembered by:

Husband: Vantie Alie

Children: David John and wife Kay John, Athenia Christopher, Coralie Christopher, Paula Lawrence and her husband George Lawrence, Marilla Vaillant, and husband Jean Luc Vaillant.

Grandchildren: Amiscia, Adelyn, Addison,  Candia, Divad, David Jr. Gleason, Jackie, Jordan, Kenny, Kenya, Laverne, Leah, Nadia, Kish, Kristoffer, Tyrese, Vernelle, and Yohan

Great grandchildren: Adaiah, Aiden, Aniyah, AJ, Ajuah, Amiya, Elody, Jahlanie, Kishana, Nazarie, Oleisha, Raine, Shemiyah and Yannick,

Nieces: Caryl Langford, Linda Joseph, Sharon Gregoire, Eleanora, and Naomi Dorival

Nephews: Peter Langford, Junior Pond, Julie Paul, Daryl, Brian, Shawn, and Bronell

Stepdaughter: Elandra Alie-Inglis

The body of the late Ursula Henry-Alie affectionately known as “Mama” will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 1:30pm at the Canefield Gospel Mission on Tuesday 9th December 2025. Funeral Service begins at 2:00pm followed by interment at the Roseau Public Cemetery.
