We announce the death of 82-year-old Hugh Joseph Oscar, originally from Giraudel and Newtown, who resided at Canefield. He died peacefully at his residence on Sunday, October 5th, 2025.<\/p>\n

Son: Jason Oscar<\/p>\n
Daughters: Dawn and Betty Oscar.<\/p>\n
Sisters: Joan Oscar, Andrina Williams, Shirley Oscar, Bernice Burton, Isaline Titre, and Camelia Cornelius.<\/p>\n
Brothers: Eddie, Foley, and Oscar.<\/p>\n
Grandchildren: Dre, Omari, Jahdi, and Jahniq Oscar and Zuri Charles.<\/p>\n
Stepchildren: Desir\u00e9, Cyril, and Cecil Alexander.<\/p>\n
Daughter-in-Law: Veronica Oscar<\/p>\n
Sisters-in-law: Catherine Ettienne, Catherina Jean, Olive George, Elizabeth Williams, Margaret Thomas and Elizabeth Oscar.<\/p>\n

The body of the late Hugh Joseph Oscar will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 2:30 p.m. at the Our Lady of Fair Haven Cathedral, Roseau on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025. Funeral Service begins at 3:00 p.m. followed by interment at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.<\/p>\n
