{"id":5151,"date":"2026-03-04T11:37:42","date_gmt":"2026-03-04T15:37:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lyndhurstfuneralhome.com\/dominica\/?post_type=mec-events&#038;p=5151"},"modified":"2026-03-05T11:22:44","modified_gmt":"2026-03-05T15:22:44","slug":"catherine-valda-delauney-laronde","status":"publish","type":"mec-events","link":"https:\/\/lyndhurstfuneralhome.com\/dominica\/events\/catherine-valda-delauney-laronde\/","title":{"rendered":"Catherine Valda Delauney-LaRonde"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>We announce the death of Mrs. Catherine Valda Delauney-LaRonde <\/strong><strong>Age: 74 of Pointe Michel who resided at Agape Care Inc.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>She died on Tuesday, 10<sup>th<\/sup> February 2026 Agape Care Inc.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>She was preceded in death by her parents Emry and Elsie Delauney of Point Michel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>She was the sister of: Mr Arthur, Partrick, Sylvester and James \u00a0Delauney (Deceased), Mr. Kenneth &amp; \u00a0Phillip Delauney, Mrs. Thora Delauney-Simmons, Mrs. Felixia Delauney-Philbert, Mrs. Patricia Delauney-Charles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>She was the Mother of: Mrs. Tamara LaRonde-Payne, Mrs. Yvonne LaRonde-Charles, Ms. Yolanda LaRonde, Mr. Kurt LaRonde, Mrs. Renee LaRonde-Thomas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Her Step Son: Mr. Steve LaRonde<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Her Grand Children whom she loved Dearly: Eulisa White, Donte Joseph Knowla Payne, Jonathan Payne, Nicholas Charles, Justin Charles, Roch\u00e9 Thomas\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>She had many Nieces and Nephews to numerous to mention<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>She shared a special relationship with her sister in-law Mrs. Bella Delauney of Point Michel who was always there for her.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Her Very Good Friends In Antigua: Ms. Thora Thomas,\u00a0Mr. Welt Telemaque, Ms. Phillip.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The family would like to thank Nurse Espirit and the staff of Agape Care Nursing Home\u00a0 For the excellent care and attention given to Catherine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The body of the late Catherine Valda Delauney-LaRonde will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 11:30am at the St. Luke&#8217;s Catholic Church in Pointe Michel on Tuesday, 10<sup>th<\/sup> March 2026.
