It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Justine Matthew affectionately known as Jemo.
Age: 65 years of Riviere cyrique
She died on the 20th November 2024 at the DCFH
Her deceased parents Simon and Veronica Baptiste. Also her deceased husband Andrew Matthew.
Justine survived by her daughter Erine Polydore
Grandson Jahiem in Texas.
Sisters Justina in New York and Florence in Trinidad
Brothers Antione in St Croix and Simon in New York.
She also survived by numerous nieces and nephews including Carol, Esther, Tiffany, Kyara in New York, Olive in New Jersey, Eyvonne, Tamara and Olivia.
Nephews Glen, Curtis, Bertrand, Anthony, Fabien, Joey and Roy.
Many grand nephews and grandnieces names are too numerous to mention.
Close cousins include Mathias, Eustache, Cyril and Samuel.
Her extended relatives include the Baptiste, Lawrence, Prescott and her in-laws .
Close friends Ruthina, Sharon, Ena, Clem, Josette, Zophin, Agnise, Dadet, Patricia, Ms Phyllis, Petit, Creso and Lila.
Her caretakers. Faustina and Adeline.
Friends form the community of Riviere Cyrique, Morne Jaune and Grand Fond.
The body of the late Justine Matthew affectionately known as Jemo will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 1:30pm at the Morne Jaune Catholic Church on Saturday 21st December 2024. Funeral Mass begins at 10:00am followed by interment at the La Plaine Catholic Cemetery.
