Doreen Prisca Francis

Death announcement of 91-year-old Doreen Prisca Francis of Elmshall. She died on Friday, 22nd of August, 2025, at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital. She leaves to mourn:

Her son, Dexter Francis, and his wife, Dr. Rhonda McIntyre-Francis

Grandchildren: Khary Francis and his wife, Andreea, Ama, and Jelani Francis. Akeem and Nailah, Francis and Karima Swaine

Great grandchildren: Isabel, Anne-Lise and Zubyr (pronounced as Zubear)

Daughter-in-Law: Bernadine Francis

Brothers: Dr. Mervin Riviere and Newton Riviere

Sister: Marjorie Alexis

Sisters in law: Sally, Ginny, and Denise Riviere

Cousins: Hagan Riviere and wife Ruthie

Godson: George James.

Numerous close family and friends in Dominica, the US, Canada, and the UK, too numerous to mention

Members of the Dominica Save the Children Fund, Community members and friends from the Mahaut and Cockrane community.

The body of the late Doreen Francis will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 2:30 pm at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Friday, 5th September 2025.  Funeral Service begins at 3:00 pm followed by interment the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
