We announce the death of 42-year-old Merlyn Celestina Valmond George, better known as “Oye” of Sineku. She died on Tuesday, 4th November, 2025, at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

The body of the late Merlyn Celestina Valmond George better known as “Oye” will be transported from the Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday 19th November to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mahaut River. The funeral service will commence at 2:30 p.m., followed by interment at the Castle Bruce Public Cemetery.
