We announce the death of Mr Augustin Joseph also known as “Joe
aged 75 of Rosehill, Marigot. He died on Friday, January 2nd, 2026 at the R.F.A Portsmouth Hospital.
He leaves to mourn:
One sister: Babara Ichbel Zamore
Nephew and Legal Guardian- Rodriguez Buffong
Nieces: Kathy Buffong-Royer, Samantha Buffong, Sheila Burnette, Edith, Esley and Lana James, Alison & Martha Joseph
Other Nephews: Edison, Clement, Lennard & Hank Joseph, Rueben, Mark & Marquise James, Roger and Arlington Burnette, Cleveland Zamore, Fitzroy George
Numerous cousins, including The Abraham, Prevost, Hamlet, Joseph, and James families in Marigot, the Timothy & Prevost families in Wesley.
Close friends including Neva Edwards, James & Mornlight Greer, Gilliana Durand, Marie & Cadette families in Calibishie, Nurse Ferrol, Dr. Jacob, Members of the Marigot Catholic Church, the community of Rose Hill and the village of Marigot
Caretakers: Tamar, Nurses and Staff of Healing Hands Nursing Home
The body of the late Augustin Joseph will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 9:30 am at the Wesley Catholic Church on Saturday, January 17th, 2026. Funeral Mass begins at 10:00 am followed by interment at the Wesley Catholic Cemetery.
