Peter Cleophas Challenger

 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Cleophas Challenger better known as ‘Pappyson’ aged 83 of Castle Bruce who resided in St. Croix. He died on the 13th of July 2026. He was past employee of Carambola beach resort in St. Croix.

 He leaves to mourn his:

Children: Peterson Challenger residing in San Antonio Texas & Peter Challenger residing in Houston, Texas, Grayson Challenger, Vernice and Elwin. sr(Charlo)

Brothers: Joseph Challenger retired inspector of the Dominica Police Force & Wilfred Challenger better known as sawil.

Grand children: Nia Challenger, Pete Challenger, Petrice Challenger, Gracia Challenger-Gordon, Breana Challenger, Candice Browne, AliAndre Poleon, Elwin Challenger jr.

1 great-granddaughter: Zalena Browne Owens

44 Nieces & Nephews: including Wilbert, Yolanda, Alec, Augustus, Cynthia, Pat, Desmond, Glenda, Francis, Valda, Jovin.

The body of the late Peter Cleophas Challenger better known as ‘Pappyson’ will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing from 1:30pm on Thursday, 30^th July 2026 at the Castle Bruce Catholic Church. Funeral Service begins at 2:00pm followed by interment at the Castle Bruce Catholic Cemetery.
