We announce the death of Bernard Bright, aka “Mickey”

Age: 68 of Bellevue Rawle

He died on 5^th February at his residence.

He leaves to mourn:

6 Sisters: Claudia Pemberton & Myrtle Romeo in St Maarten, Jean Bright, Joan Bright, Helena Bright in The U.S. and Augustina Romain in Guadeloupe.

4 Brothers: Augustus Bright (Boyos), Steven Bright (Tebo), Emmanuel Charles (Tete) and Phillip Bright.

Nieces & nephews: Dion, Corinthia, Anderson, Jaselyn, Christopher, Levon, Shannie & Shanna in the US; Cresencia & Melene in France; Karene, Keimyah & Kevin in St Martin; Kurt in Holland; Fabienne, Celine & Michel in Guadeloupe; Camela (Denise)-Teacher at the Goodwill Primary School, Noala, Janus, Jahi and Jahkel in Dominica; Emmanuel aka Junior in St Kitts; Isaac in Tortola; McClean in Antigua & Bino in St. Lucia.

Grandnieces & nephews too numerous to mention

Close family friends: Kent Abraham, the Isaac family, the nurses and doctors at the Oncology Department at the DCFH,  the Dominica Cancer Association, Community of Bellevue Rawle, Stockfarm, Yam piece, Gutter and Tarish Pit and others too numerous to mention.

The body of the late Bernard Bright aka Mickey will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 2:00pm at the St. Alphonsus Church on Monday, 2^nd March 2026. The funeral begins at 2:30pm followed by interment at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
