Cornelius Bernard Lugay

We announce the death of 72-year-old Cornelius Bernard Lugay, better known as ‘Cony’, a former national football and softball cricket player of Steber Street, Pottersville, who resided at Bath Estate. He died on 22nd August 2025 in Canada.

He is survived by his:

Wife: Andrea Lugay

Children: Caryl and Cassandra Lugay in Antigua; Cornelius Lugay Jr. (a.k.a Kyatt) in Dominica; Natasha, Tricha, and Dwight Lugay in Canada.

Grandchildren: Shernyeka and Allysha Lugay in Dominica; Tyler Richards and Christian Florant in Canada; Jahvon Nelson, Hayden McDougal, Shaquilla, Denisha, and Tanisha Merchant in Antigua

Great-grandchildren: Ezekiel, Elijah, and Dylan McDougal, Neveh Nelson Smith, Jaylon, and Ziyon in Antigua

The body of the late Cornelius Bernard Lugay will leave Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 2:00 pm on Friday 10th October, 2025 at the People’s Pentecostal Family Church in Goodwill. The funeral service will commence at 2:30 pm followed by interment at the Roseau Public Cemetery.
