John James

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved John James, better known as “Yak” or “Alleyne” age 57 of Lagoon, Portsmouth.

He died on 3rd June, 2025.

He will be remembered by: 

Brothers:  Hilarion Ferrol Aka “Chewo”  and Augustus Toussaint Aka “Bounty”(in Dominica)

Sisters:Theodora Pierelouis and Marcelina Ferrol (in St. Maarten)

Adopted Brothers: Steve Telemaque, Christopher George, Emmanuel Bique

Adopted Sister: Rosemary Tittle (in Antigua)

Sisters in Law: Magdalyne Ferrol and Doreen Telemaque

Brother in Law: Emmanuel Tittle (in Antigua)

Nephews: Philbert Pierre Louis and Norris Thomas in St. Maarten, Mario Toussaint, Richie Ferrol and Jedidah Ferrol in Dominica, Derrick Maxwell in Aruba, Tony Tittle and Kobe Tittle in Antigua

Nieces: Ann Ferrol and Leona Wathey in St Maarten, Angela Azille Hazel and Annette Azille Williams in the USA, Donna Maxwell in Aruba, Deloris St.Jean, Leah St.Jean-Tyson, Kethlyn George, Yolanda George in Dominica and Roma St.Jean-Peter, Genella Tittle, Melissa Tittle in Antigua.

The Funeral Service will take place at the Christian Union Church Portsmouth at 2 pm on Wednesday 25,  June 2025. Viewing from 1:30pm.

 Burial at the Public Cemetery in Chance.
