Karen Charles

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Karen Charles better known as ‘Avon’ She was an employee of DEXIA  

Age 49 years old of Tarish Pit, who resided in Cock Street Roseau.

She died on the 20th March 2025.

She left to mourn 

Boyfriend: Brian Cognet 

Children: Sabrina, Tamika, Sherlana, Shania, Orel, Mia, and Brianna

Grandchildren: Sheriah , Jeadekel, Seianna, Sergio, Tyrell, Seth, Ava and Ayla

Sisters: Wendy, Monelle, Tasha, Murella, Mary, Ivonna and Lucia in Guadaloupe 

Brothers: Phillip , Peter and Kelvin

Nieces:  Makima,  Latisha, Italia, Majidah, Future, Kyra, Kenderlyn,

Tania, Lione ,Nakia, Lisa,Donna in Antigua Brittanny and Tracy

Nephews: Malcom, Wendelle, Peterson, Travis, Micheal, Danny, Akel and Heskeith 

Cousins: Pernel, Davidson, Ester, Sasha, Jenny, Mathew 

Aunties: Unice, Mertitle, Porport

Uncles: John, Joseph 

Best friend: Agnes 

The Nicholas family, Augustus family abroad, Evadney, Staff of Dexia. The Tarish Pit community, Big step family, Jackson family. Management and staff of J.Astaphans and company. Mrs Asus, Ms Larocque. Diann, close friends and family here and abroad names too numerous to mention.  

The body of the late Karen Charles better known as Avon will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 1:30pm at the St Alphonsus Church on Wednesday 9th April 2025. Funeral Mass begins at 2pm followed by internment at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery .
