We announce the death of Mrs. Catherine Valda Delauney-LaRonde Age: 74 of Pointe Michel who resided at Agape Care Inc.

She died on Tuesday, 10^th February 2026 Agape Care Inc. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Emry and Elsie Delauney of Point Michel

She was the sister of: Mr Arthur, Partrick, Sylvester and James  Delauney (Deceased), Mr. Kenneth &  Phillip Delauney, Mrs. Thora Delauney-Simmons, Mrs. Felixia Delauney-Philbert, Mrs. Patricia Delauney-Charles

She was the Mother of: Mrs. Tamara LaRonde-Payne, Mrs. Yvonne LaRonde-Charles, Ms. Yolanda LaRonde, Mr. Kurt LaRonde, Mrs. Renee LaRonde-Thomas

Her Step Son: Mr. Steve LaRonde

Her Grand Children whom she loved Dearly: Eulisa White, Donte Joseph Knowla Payne, Jonathan Payne, Nicholas Charles, Justin Charles, Roché Thomas 

She had many Nieces and Nephews to numerous to mention

She shared a special relationship with her sister in-law Mrs. Bella Delauney of Point Michel who was always there for her.

Her Very Good Friends In Antigua: Ms. Thora Thomas, Mr. Welt Telemaque, Ms. Phillip.

The family would like to thank Nurse Espirit and the staff of Agape Care Nursing Home  For the excellent care and attention given to Catherine.

The body of the late Catherine Valda Delauney-LaRonde will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 11:30am at the St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Pointe Michel on Tuesday, 10^th March 2026. Funeral Mass begins at 12:00pm followed by interment at the Pointe Michel Catholic Cemetery.
