Ignace Avandale Detouche

We announce the death of Ignace Avandale Detouche , age 71 formerly of Dubique, Grand Bay, who resided at Scotts Head.  He died on Monday 30^th December 2024, at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

He leaves to mourn:

Wife: Adelina Detouche

Children: Deborah, Edwin, Ferney, Garvin and Deon Detouche

Grandchildren: Stephie, Stephan, Stephen and Stephanie Laville;

Bastien and Faye Weekes;

Malcolm, Isaiah, Gerard, Anton and Cristiano Detouche

Children In-Law: Francis Laville, Ronald Weekes and Enzinga Darroux-Detouche

Siblings: Sylvester Fontaine (aka Baba); Marie Luke; June Reece & Evelina Blanc

Brothers-in-Law: Sylvester Francis, Alexander Luke and Ruthven Reece

Aunt: Clarina Francis (aka Aunty Clay)

Nieces & Nephews: Stellia, Stephen, and Steeven Fontaine; Darren and Akhil Luke; Keon and Kareem Reece; Dylan Laudat

Viewing of the body will take place at 2:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 3:00 p.m. at the Soufriere Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday 5^th February 2025.  Interment will take place at the Soufriere Roman Catholic Cemetery.
