We announce the death of: Rosy Tavernier affectionately known as “Die”

Age: 85    Of: Scott’s Head

She died on Saturday, March 30^th at the PMH

She will be remembered by her five daughters: Cecilia Nicholas in Scotts Head, Celia Rocque in the UK, Anthea Tavermier, Irma Morris and Pauline Barbosa in Boston, USA.

Grandchildren: Kenson, Chris & Joel Nicholas, Tamara and Chlore Tavernier, Abigail Alanzo & Arian Morris, Ajani and Kurje Nicolas in the USA, Loire, Niles, Red, Rio and Jordan in the UK

Great grandchildren: Mervin, Dajanix, Bobby, Joel Jr. and Amelia in the US and Dominique in the UK

Brothers: Archibald and Vincent Etienne

1 sister: Ignatia Jermaine

Nieces including: Amber and Shirley

Sons in law: Michael Nicholas, Hails Rocque, Osmond Tavernier, Haynes Morris and Pedro Barbosa

Step-son: John Tavernier

Caretakers: Phillipa and Marvelyn

Special cousin: Veronica

Close friends: P C Green, Aboto, Winifred, Cecilia and Mr.  & Mrs. Jno Lewis in the UK

Numerous other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends both here and abroad including, the Francis, Etienne, Tavernier families, the entire communities of Gallion, Scotts Head and Soufriere.

The body of the late Rosy Tavernier affectionately known as “Die” will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 2:30pm on Friday, April 26, at the Soufriere Roman Catholic Church. Funeral Mass take place at 3:00pm followed by interment at the Soufriere Catholic Cemetery.
