Grace Licorish

GRACE EUREEN LICORISH NЀE WATSON of #141 Edgehill Terrace, St. Thomas and formerly of St. Simons, St. Andrew entered into rest on August 21, 2025 at age 74. She was a retired Teacher of Wesley Hall Junior School.
Daughter of the late Delcina and FitzGarnett Watson.
Mother of Faye Beckles (Frederick Smith Sec.) and Natasha Licorish (ICBL).
Grandmother of Sabonne Beckles, Kadejha Roach and Kamell Bridgeman.
Great-grandmother of Kaiden Howard and Yaira Bridgeman.
Sister of Owen Watson, the late Elrita Luke, Euleen Watson, and Muriel Stuart.
Aunt of Marilyn Patrick, Donna and Romaine Watson, Hazel Chandler, Marcia Chandler-Thompson, Kirk Yarde-Watson, Sasha Smith, Khianda Pearman-Watson, Judy, Edwin, Lionel and Suzanne Stuart.
Great-aunt and Great great-aunt of many.
Cousinof many.
Mother-in-law of Decourcey Beckles.
Godmother of Levar Greaves, Joel Payne and Matthew Armstrong.
Relative of the Watson, Forde, Sealy and Lowe families.
Special friend of Egla Parris, Rosemary Jones, Jennifer Daniel, Natalie Sargeant, Gay Bourne, Harry Husbands and many others.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at the chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. followed by a private cremation. Please note tributes will begin at 9:00 a.m. and no mourning colours by special request. The body of the late Grace Licorish will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
