MAXINE YVONNE MARTINDALE, aged 84, of Cane Garden Park, St. Thomas, entered into rest on September 13, 2025. Longstanding member of the Sharon Moravian Church Choir and the Moramus Choir.
Wife of the late Neville Martindale.
Mother of Captain Winston “Nick” Martindale (dec’d) and Carol Martindale.
Grandmother of Kymia Martindale.
Daughter of the late Delcina Hutson.
Sister of Diana Cox (Twin), Barbara Eversley (USA) and the late Carl Hutson.
Aunt of Joanne Wharton (Canada), Michelle Johnson, Nicole Hall, Kashanie Eversley, Trevor, Alfred and Michael Walcott and Judy Carrington of the USA.
Godmother of Senator Gregory Nicholls and Glen Brathwaite.
Relative of the Davis and Jordan families and Nigel Harris.
Friend of Eleanor Tempro, Angela Hynam, Joyce Adams, Shirley Blackman, Corlette Garnes and many others.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Sharon Moravian Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. followed by the interment. No mourning colours are required. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
