LAWRENCE ARTHUR ALLEYNE, also known as “Sammy” aged 53, formerly of Workhall, St. Philip and Hopeland, St. Peter, entered into rest on January 30, 2026.
Son of the late Yuanita Alleyne and Henderson Cox.
Treated as son by Ernell Sealy and Peggy Dear.
Grandson of the late Glenfield Alleyne.
Husband of Nicole Alleyne.
Father of Rasheed, Nailah and Imara Alleyne.
Grandfather of Daimar Walkes.
Nephew of Kenneth, Leslie, Aldine and Celestine Alleyne.
Brother of Cedric, Richard, Willie and Sophie Alleyne, Troy Willoughby, Kimberley McDonald, Carlos Cox, Troy Dear, Rudolph, Sheon, Sheldene, Raphael, Paul and Gregory Haynes.
Son-in-law of Doriel King.
Uncle, cousin and friend of many in Barbados and the U.K,
Relative of the Alleyne, Gittens and Lord families.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at The Church of the Holy Trinity, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. Followed by the interment. No mourning colours by special request. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The body of the late Lawrence Arthur Alleyne will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
