STRAUGHAN – SYLVIA LORRAINE, aged 99, of ‘Sunnyside’, Salters, St. George, entered into rest on February 5, 2026.
Wife of the late Sydney Selwyn Straughan. Daughter of the late William Austin Kirton and Gwendolyn Kirton. Sister of the late Margaretta Gwendolyn Richards.

A memorial service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the St. George Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m., followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:00 a.m. on Friday.
