JASMAY ELETHA CLARKE, aged 89, of Bannister Land, Martindales Road, St. Michael, entered into rest on March 25, 2026. Jasmay’s life was defined not only by her deep devotion to family. She had a passion for cooking and took great joy in entertaining friends and family, creating spaces filled with comfort, laughter, and connection. She dedicated over 15 years of her professional life as a member of the culinary team at The Ritz-Carlton in Boston, Massachusetts.

Sister of the late Carlisle and Rudolph Clarke, Magnelle Worrell and Sylvie Robinson.
Mother of Lloyd Clarke and his wife Marilyn Clarke, and Marjorie Clarke Roach and her late husband John Roach.

Grandmother of Carlson and Dana Clarke and John, Jabaar and Joy-anne Roach and Michelle Clarke.

Great-grandmother of Carson and Dayquan Witkowski, Jasinia Dawn Meredith, Antwone, Key Roberson, Ariana Farrell and Kayla Clarke, Nathon and Sebastian Clarke-Sasz, Daylon Trotman, Tamia Hunte, Jonelle, Jonathan, Nicolai, Jaysha, Jayse, Jada and Jacoba Roach, Kristal and Karima Thompson, Mylique Reid-Clarke and Mikyle Clarke.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Peoples Cathedral, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will then proceed to Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens for the interment.
