Benedict Kenneth DeSuze

BENEDICT KENNETH DESUZE, affectionately known as “Ken/Ken Ken”, aged 85, formerly of Union Lodge, Worthing, Christ Church, entered peacefully into sleep on June 1, 2026. Retired Life Underwriter of Sagicor Insurance Inc. He was a founding member of The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Barbados.
Son of the late Carlton and Phyllis DeSuze (Trinidad).
Beloved husband of Margot DeSuze.
Father of Gina-lee and Sharyn DeSuze.
Adoptive Grandfather of Amber, Jade, Krystal, Khalil, Amit and Amiti.
Brother of Eileen Gordon, Gemma Seon, Jeffery DeSuze, Clifford DeSuze (deceased) and Judith DeSuze (Trinidad).
Uncle of Colin, Gillian, Wayne, Carla, Kevin, Marika and Jacquelyn.
Great-uncle of Michael, Robert, Mathew, Joshua, Braydon, Brandon, Brittany, Adonis, Joel, Christian, Sabastian, Elijah and Zayde.
Cousin of the DeSuze and Borely families.
Close friend of the Fergusson, Harris, Maraj and Trotman families and many others.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Thursday June 18, 2026 at the Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted for The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Barbados. There will be a private cremation at a later date.
