ANTHONY HERBERT MAPP, aged 76, of Sunbury Tenantry, St. Philip, entered into rest on July 11, 2026. Retired Operator. Son of the late Evelyn Allder and the late Nathaniel Wharton. Brother of Nadene, Tennyson, Leibert, Denzil, Antoinette Mapp and Merlene Clarke. Uncle of Alwyn, Warren, Maxine and Trezelle Clarke, Karen Reid-Sealy, Juanne Moore, Leann Weekes, Juliette Carter, Deborah Neblett, Steve, Ryan, Brad, Dwayne, Keisha and Beal Mapp, Jason Hollingsworth, Lee Wratten, Naya Barrow, Raynard, Rhea and Rico Wilkinson. Brother-in-law of Raymond Clarke and Richelle Blackman-Mapp. Relative of the Mapp, Edey and Wharton families. Friend of many.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Ebenezer Methodist Church, Ebenezer, St. Philip, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will then proceed to Bushy Park Cemetery for the interment. No mourning colours by special request. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:00 a.m. on Friday.
