NIGEL HAMILTON BELLE, aged 64, of Ellerton, St. George, entered into rest on August 3, 2026. He was a member of the Foundation Old Scholars 1972 to 1978 and served in the Barbados Defence Force from 1979 to 2004. Husband of Brandí C. Belle (Entrepreneur and Fitness Coach). Son of the late Ulrica Belle. Father of André Belle (Entrepreneur), Melisa Belle (CDB), Shakera Gill (Auxiliary Nurse), and Alita Edwards (Q.A Manager). Grandfather of Tevin Batson, Da-Quan Gill-Gittens (OS), and Arabella Bynoe. Cousin of the Harris and Sealy families (St. George). Father-in-law of Christopher Edwards (Sous Chef) and PC 1996 Henry. Brother-in-law of P’Chez Butler (Canada). Friend of Grantley Green, James Brown, Andrew Clarke, Clyde Lewis, the Kalloo and Benn families (Trinidad). A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026 at St. George Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Military Cemetery, Grave’s End, Needham’s Point, St. Michael for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
