HANIEF DECOURCEY GOODING, aged 67, of Eastbourne, St. Philip, entered into rest on August 25, 2026. Retired Golf Course Superintendent – Sandy Lane, Member of BARL, Turf Consultant for Barbados Turf Club and owner of Pro Turf Maintenance.
Son of the late Addison and Norma Gooding.
Husband of Linda Stow-Gooding.
Father of Kristina Stow-Gooding and Christopher Gooding.
Stepfather of Tanesha Ellis.
Brother of Trevor and Delvin Gooding, Barry Weekes, Sheryl Gooding, Valerie Grazette, David and Anthony
(Ian) Goddard, Grafton and Jacqueline Gooding (UK).
Uncle of Dario Smitten, Kim, Stefan, Kemar and Andre Gooding, Romario Noel, Rachel, Ruth, Matthew, Damari and Dalenis Goddard.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 at The Church of the Holy Trinity, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The body of the late Hanief Gooding will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
