Father of Adrian and Deverson Carter, Kathyann Clarke and Selena Davis. Grandfather of Shaquille, Jalia and Treson Carter and Jadia Sargeant. Great-grandfather of Shalia Carrington. Brother of Muriel Carrington, Elton Greaves, Carmel Downes, Arthur, Carl, Halsey, Arnold, Philmore Gilkes, Rev. Vera Waithe, Joislyn Gilkes (Canada), Arnetha Rock (Canada) and the late Philip and Feliston Gilkes. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026 at Clifton Hill Moravian Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
