Retired Secretary of the former Ambassador of CARICOM Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. Daughter of Claudine Gibson and the late Cuthbert Browne. Sister of Verletta, Henderson, Carl, Glenroy, Linda, Charlie, Sharalyn and Lynmarie Gibson, Janice Gooding, Shem Nicholas, Avril, Frank and Maureen Wiltshire. Aunt of Kimberly Felix, Kerry-Ann Hoyte, Juhan, Andre and Glenroy Thelius, Lydia Reece, Nikita King, Trecia Gibson, Tré Hoyte, Dominique and Jay Gooding, Shaquille, Treviere and Destiny Gibson. Great Aunt of many. Cousin of Michael Gibson, Roger Beckles, Valerie Lacey and Brenda Robinson (of the USA), David Browne (Principal of the Queens College School), Reverend Jeffery Gibson, Reverend David Holder and many others. Sister-in-Law of Glorita Gibson. Relative of the Gibson, Holder, Gittens, Greene, Browne, Burton, Coppin, Carter and Humphrey families. Friend of Margaret Corbin.
The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St Michael on Thursday, October 03, 2019 for St. Barnabas Anglican Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3.30 p.m. for the service and interment The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 12:00 noon on Thursday. The body of the late Brenda Marlease Gibson will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 02, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
