My mother Dawn Suter and I send our deepest sympathies to the family of Joan. We knew her from our โ€œflower โ€œ world, and counted ourselves amongst her many Canadian friends. She was a wonderful designer and tireless worker who helped put Barbados on the world of floral design stage through the hosting of WAFA, the World Association of Floral Artists Triennial show and Seminar. Always the epitome of elegance and grace, it was an honour to have had her in our lives. She will be missed, not just by us but internationally.

I have always admired Joan's caring and selfless nature. She was a true friend and someone who was always a please to be around. Her kindness was contagious and her memory will live in forever. Our deepest condolences to the family at this time. She was an amazing woman and will truly be missed.
A mother is with us always, first in her lifetime, then forever in our memories.
Rest in power Joan ????
