WARD – NORMAN CLEVELAND, aged 97, of Durant’s Village, Holder’s Hill, St. James, entered peacefully into rest on February 23, 2020. Member of the Payne’s Bay Assembly Hall. Husband of Velma Ward. Father of James and Vernon Bowen, Jonathan Ward (Turtle Beach Great House), Glenroy and Edward Ward (Servall Inc.), Andine Bishop (Canada), Anderson Ward (Crane Resort), Margaret Brereton (Jordans Supermarket), Deborah Ward (R.V.E Security), Meashel Connell (Daryll Jordan Secondary) and the late Nathaniel “Trevor” Ward. Grandfather of Zandre Bowen, Dario and Miguel Ward, Danielle Ballantyne, Nathan and Christina Brereton, Tyrel John, Charlie Bishop and Jolisa Ward. Great-grandfather of Lucas Archer, Davonté Ward and Prince Inniss. Brother of the late Fitzgerald “Fitzy” Ward, Geneva “Junie” Scantlebury, Montrose “Rose”, Elsie and Jonathan “Honey” Ward. Uncle of Eric and Daisey Ward, Gweneth Haynes, Ronald “Bambi” Herbert, Shirland Scantlebury, David, Marcia, Marva and Norma Ward, Jamaleka Gilbert, Livie and David Ward, Clementina and Runique Deveaux, the late Anthony, St. Elmo and Frederick Ward and Ruthan Deveaux. The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Saturday, March 07, 2020 for the Assembly Hall, Bush Hall, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 9:30 a.m. for the service. The cortege will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home, no later than 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. The body of the late Norman Cleveland Ward will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home, on Friday, March 06, 2020 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
