"Youth ... is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips ... it is a matter of will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life ..." - S. Ullman "Youth"
Auntie Brenda embodied the principles of youth - rosy cheeks and red lips included to accentuate the most beautiful smile. I would say to her often: "Auntie Brenda we would have been friends !" as I listened to her recollect some part of her life's journey mainly to provide perspective regarding a query or statement I might have made which often culminated in wild laughter or smiles. Our quality time lasted for hours because I thoroughly enjoyed her youthfulness and her friendship. Thank you Shamelle and Krystle for sharing her love with your friends. I love and sorely miss you Auntie Brenda.I will always remember You(th) 🙂
On behalf of the Garnes family I extend heartfelt condolences on the passing of Brenda. Remembering her beautiful spirit will forever remain in our hearts. May she Rest In Peace and Rise in Glory,
Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength. Our thoughts and prayers are with Krystle, Shamelle, Skye and the rest of the family??

Topic: Grieving Differently with COVID 19
In this Social Work Season 2021 of Love and Loss ... Sunday March 21 takes us to a place of 'Loss'
'Ubuntu' I am because We are standing on the foundation built by Social Worker Legends. Much of today is being built on COVID 19. It has caused much delayed grief, new funeral arrangements and new fears to enter a funeral home or to touch a loved one.
To take us through this COVID 19 Grieving differently is Mr. Peter Griffith, Funeral Director of Lyndhurst Funeral Home.
