D’HAYLE NÉE WARNER – ELSIE ELAINE,
With sad hearts but wonderful, warm and funny memories, the family of Elsie D’Hayle announces her passing.
Elsie was born on September 15, 1926, and peacefully passed away at home on December 14, 2017.
Late of 1st Avenue Pickwick Gap, Westbury Road, Elsie or “Gran, was preceded in death by daughters June Lowe, Jacqueline Corbin and Marcia Alleyne.
Elsie will be forever loved and remembered by children Judy Reid, Pauline, Ricardo, Patricia and Roslyn D’Hayle and Cheryl Howell; grandchildren Kent, Janelle, Stephen, Richard, Lisa Angie, Ryan, Todd, Charmaine, Brian , Allison, Tammy, Tracia, Sherry-Ann, Jason, Andrea, Andy, Shane, Krystal and Jade; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Her niece Millicent, nephews Clarence and Junior and dear friends Paula Bethell, Hazel Burke, Maureen Haynes and the Archer, Leach and Walcott families.
Special thanks to Lynthia Archer, Erlinda Dujon and Mr. Anthony Harris for making her last few months as comfortable as possible.
The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 for the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Cave Hill, St. Michael where the service of thanksgiving will be held at 1:00 p.m., followed by the interment at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens. Mourning colours are optional. Floral tributes may be delivered to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The body of the late Elsie Elaine D’Hayle née Warner will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, December 22, 2017, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
