TOBIERE – MARIE THERESA SHEELA, affectionately known as “Ms. Taylor”, aged 93, of Valley Land, St. George entered into rest on February 17, 2022. Daughter of the late Victor Mathurin and Felicite Noel of Soufriere St. Lucia. Wife of the late Fitzgerald Linton. Mother of Berthram, Leonard, Sheila and Lawrence Tobiere. Grandmother of Rasheda Holder-Fink, Tiffany and Dianara Tobiere, Moesha Christian, Shamar Grimes, Anthony, Akil, Chinyere and Morgan Tobiere. Great-grandmother of Shalie Babb-Grimes, Amari and Ajari Tobiere and Aarya Taitt. Sister of Ja-Ja, Maggie, Leonne and Leona, Pearrenese, Vanerant, Winderlin, Agnes and Desmond. Aunt of Sis Merlene, Titus, Patsy, Paulette, Vallance, Catherine, Jim and Francis Mathurin, Jasper Cottle, Gabriel Charles and many more. Great-aunt of Jeannie, Kerry and Kirk Mathurin, Nikolai, Sergio, Alexei Charles and many more.
Mother-in-law of Valcia Tobiere. Adoptive mother and friend of too many to mention. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday, March 08, 2022 at the chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
