GILBERT RUDOLPH HOLDER, aged 82 of Pillersdorf Development, Grazettes, St. Michael entered into rest on May 09, 2022. Former proprietor of Out-O-Town Minimart and former employee of Mobil Oil Barbados Ltd. Member of the Combermere Old Scholars Alumni and former member of the Combermere Hockey Team.
Son of the late Rupert and Ione Holder.
Husband of Rosalin Holder.
Former husband of the late Cyrilene Holder.
Father of Jonelle Als, Ogun and Touré Holder.
Grandfather of Ronelle, Ronald and Juanelle Als, Joy and Kyan Holder.
Great-grandfather of Dayshaun Watts, Zamenda Als, Keyon-dre Burrowes, Zakyra Als, Zamarri Als-Boyce, Zaryah Haynes and Njeri Als.
Brother of Rawle Holder and the late Ralph and Clinton Holder.
Cousin of Sir Errol “Mickey” Walrond, Lorraine Joseph, Mary Walrond, Hugh, Wendy, Aileen and Stephen Foster and many others.

A memorial service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Mount of Praise Wesleyan Holiness Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Men’s Improvement Support Network in Gilbert’s memory. Mourning colours are optional but the preferred colour of choice is white by special request.
