An Official funeral service will be held on Monday, August 08, 2022 at the chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, where the public is asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Monday. The body of the late Ezra Ederson Alleyne will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Sunday, August 07, 2022 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.

Ezra was a charming and polite man, putting one at ease despite the huge gap in intellect. I will miss his mischievous grin and the conspiratorial manner of his sly asides.
He once told me that he wanted to write a novel. It is a pity he never got to do this.

I had a long, treasured and respectful friendship with the late Ezra Alleyne. I learned of his passing with deep sadness and wish by this means to convey to his family my sincerest condolences. May God give you the strength in the coming days to deal with the reality of his passing, and may you be comforted by the treasured friendships that he has developed with persons like myself over the years.
