Sending our sincere condolences from Canada. We used to live in the blue and White House on seaside drive. Chris was there for us when our daughter had an emergency, and Lawrie was always kinds and checked in on us. Weโre back in Canada now but our neighbours on seaside drive have a special place in our hearts. Hoping your fond memories of Lawrie provide comfort to all who love her.

The first time I met Lawrie, I had the gut feeling that this was one loving, accepting and compassionate person. I was instantly drawn to her. I can certainly see how Chris would have fallen in love with her from the start.
My meetings with her were sparse over the years but every time we did meet, my gut feeling was re-confirmed. It was easy to see the love she had for Chris and that love emanated from both of them. Barnie's memories of his beautiful mom were elegantly expressed with evidential and warm love.
This beautiful woman touched many but especially her family. Her soul soars with love and she has passed that love on to all those she leaves behind.
I send my most sincere condolances to you, Chris, your whole family and also to Lawrie's family at this heavy-hearted time.

My sincere condolences to the Gibbs family for your loss. Lawrie was always very kind and welcoming to me during my visits and though I will miss her physical presence, I know her spirit lives on in her lovely children, grandchildren, and extended family and friends. โSuzanne (first cousin of Tara Inniss-Gibbs)

The best teachers convey not only a subject but an approach to life. I consider Ms. Gibbs to be one of the best teachers I ever encountered as she struggled with a youngster who had already given up on her subject. Yet rather than dismissing him she showed compassion and encouragement, provided free extra lessons and taught him approaches and techniques that he uses to some success even decades later in life.
Rest in peace and rise in glory Ms. Gibbs

Topic: Grieving Differently with COVID 19
In this Social Work Season 2021 of Love and Loss ... Sunday March 21 takes us to a place of 'Loss'
'Ubuntu' I am because We are standing on the foundation built by Social Worker Legends. Much of today is being built on COVID 19. It has caused much delayed grief, new funeral arrangements and new fears to enter a funeral home or to touch a loved one.
To take us through this COVID 19 Grieving differently is Mr. Peter Griffith, Funeral Director of Lyndhurst Funeral Home.
