FRANKLIN – PEARL FLAVIA, aged 100, of “Aberdeen” Upper Collymore Rock, St. Michael entered into rest on May 15, 2023. Retired Deputy Matron of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Daughter of the late Hilda Bushell. Sister of Derwin Bushell, Barbara Downes, the late Glyne and Carl Bushell. Sister-in-law of Elrdige Downes. Aunt of Stephen and Carlson Barrow, Adrian Downes, Vilma Brathwaite and Family, Shelton Perkins, Marcia and Barbara Bushell. Cousin of Beverley Hinkson and Family, Gloria and Valencia Kirton. Relative of the Lord Family of Diamond Valley, St. Philip and many others in the United States of America. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Bethel Methodist Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:30 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The body of the late Pearl Franklin will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
