DOUGLAS – SYLVIA IONE, aged 62, of Pegwell Boggs, Christ Church and formerly of Dash Valley, St. George, entered into rest on November 28, 2023.
Mother of Crystal King. Sister of Jacqueline, Ian, Jean, Charles, the late Marcia Bernstein and Margaret Douglas. Aunt of John, Sarah, Matthew, Cherish, Ian, Shaniel, Clayon, Elian and Ephraim. Former partner of Irwin King. Relative of the Dottin, Douglas, Nightengale, Hoyte, Brathwaite and Barrow families. Friend of many.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at St. George Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m., followed by the interment. Mourning colours are optional. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 12:30 p.m. The body of the late Sylvia Ione Douglas will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
