BATSON-GILL – MALTA , aged 91, of Haynes Hill, Mapp Hill, St. Michael entered peacefully into rest on April 29, 2024.
Mother of Arlene Clarke, Sandra, Angela, Ingrid, Algy, Valmond and David Gill and the late Michael Batson. Grandmother of Randy, Rene, Robin, Ria, Reynaldo and Rochelle Batson, Regina, Richard, Sherilee and Shante Clarke, Eden, Ethan and Emily Gill, Rasheed and Khalid Lindsey, Latonya and Kareem Bedford, Ayisha Javis, Savannah Fletcher, Akeem and Shaquille Gill. Great- grandmother of Malachi, Sariah, Hezekiah, Ezekial, Serita, Ashera, Javi, Izreal and four others. Godmother of Kaylene Coppin. Cousin of June and Hetty Davis and family, Hyacinth Stout, Patrick Jones and Ira Allman. Friend of Gracelyn Wiles, Juliette Coppin and many others.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m., followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
