Gloria Brereton

BRERETON- GLORIA, aged 75, of 2D Rock Avenue, Wildey, St. Michael entered into rest on November 19, 2024. Retired employee of the Advocate, Bryden Bookstores and Adulo Apartments.

Daughter of the late Theodore and Hazel Brereton. Mother of Derek Jones of the Barbados Coast Guard. Sister of John and Peter Brereton and Andrew Brereton of the USA and the late Angela, Carl, Blair, Oakley, Errol, Earl, Samuel and Collis. Grandmother of Lamar Jones. Aunt of Jacqueline and Patty of Canada, Andy and Ian of USA, Cherie-Ann and Jamar Brereton, Julie-Ann Slocombe, Jenelle Marshall and Jeremy Brereton. Sister-in-law of Hetty and Jewel Brereton and Marcia Jordan of Canada and the late Hyacinth Brereton of USA. Relative of the Brereton, Aimey, Byer, Collymore, Selmon and Hunte families. Friend of Cindy St Hill, Marva Haynes, Deborah and Gabrielle Goodridge, Patricia Alleyne, Grace St Hill and many others.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Coral Ridge Memorial Chapel, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
