MICHAEL SEAN DECOURCEY GERMAIN, better known as “Helmet” or “Sean” aged 52, of 6th Avenue New Orleans, and formerly of Dunlow Lane, St. Michael, entered into rest on May 29, 2025.

Son of Veronica Germain and the late Derrick Harris.
Father of Jamal Waithe, Resean, Jakeem and Shaqkym Germain.
Brother of Ivaughn and Aisha Germain, Mario Blades and Kelly Haynes.
Special friend of Kimberley Bowen.
Stepson of Kent Alleyne.
Stepbrother of Makesha and Zeona Yarde.
Uncle of Jekodie, Jakobi, Monifa, Anaya, Tao, Jadé, Ché, Jahvon, Janaya, Mekhi, Shamaria, Tamara, Taji, Maisha and Sion.
Nephew of Margaretta and Theresa Joseph, Martha Butcher, Marcia Yarde, Antonio and Beal Harris, and Lawrence Clarke.
Cousin of many.
Husband of Janelle Germain.
Stepfather of Dakarai Watts.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on, Friday June 13, 2025, at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The body of the late Michael Germain will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
