Chris was one of the nicest people that ever walked on this earth. He was a swimmer as was my late husband Joey so we often got together with the Casuarina Masters at competitions in Canada, Miami and locally. Joey taught Chris how to do a flip turn which improved his race times right away. We loved the music of the Merrymen and enjoyed many of their shows. Lawrie was lovely and I know how lost he was without her. Sincere sympathy to all the family.
Fly with the Angels Chris and look out for Angus, Jonathan and Joey.

The Merrymen have been part of my life since 1966. Chris was a great bass player. I’ve ended up a musician myself. Sending my love and condolences. And thanks for the years of music.
