Dear Jean and family,

Please accept my sincerest condolences on WInstonโ€™s passing

We were in the same class at Harrison College in the fifties and reunited professionally in the eighties when he agreed to join our consulting team at Systems as a full time agricultural consultant.

Even though this was relatively short lived, we benefited immensely from his agricultural knowledge and experience as he diligently completed his assignments.

We have not been in touch over the years but I was delighted to see you all at our chance meeting last Christmas at Atlantis hotel.

As you experience this period of grief I am sure that you will be comforted by the memories of Winston over the years.

Warm regards
Basil

Dear Jean and family,
It was with a sense of great sadness that I learnt of the passing of Winston. We met during our working life when I joined the Ministry of Agriculture in 1990 and he was Deputy Chief Agricultural Officer. He was extremely knowledgeable and a great help to me in my capacity as Permanent Secretary. I could always rely on him for his thoughtful and sincere advice on both technical and administrative affairs and I developed a deep respect for him. He was a tower of strength to the Ministry. I was glad that subsequently he was appointed Chief Agricultural Officer and finally Permanent Secretary in the Ministry.
I know that you and your family will miss your beloved husband and a good father to your children.
Please accept my sincere condolences on his passing.
May he rest in peace.
With regards and best wishes,
Ruall Harris.
