July 18, 2022I would whole heartedly recommend Lyndhurst Funeral Home. Everything was handled with great respect and sensitivity. The treatment of our loved one was excellent, from the pick-up of the deceased to the viewing and the burial. As we lived abroad, we had to start the process remotely and were kept informed every step of the way. When we arrived at Lyndhurst Funeral Home, we were given further guidance regarding the choice of Casket, the placing of the obituary and other expenses. The good advice was most welcome and made the whole process go very smoothly indeed. Russell and staff were very polite and knowledgeable. On the day of the funeral, we were picked on time and arrived at the Church in good time. After the service the burial was conducted with great sensitivity from the provision of seating, a gazebo for shade and cold water to stop the mourners from becoming dehydrated. Those who were unable to attend the funeral were able to watch the live stream or in YouTube. Every aspect of the funeral arrangements was handled extremely well. The overall service from Lyndhurst Funeral was excellent, I would recommend them to anyone who has lost a loved one as they will be well taken care of. The Applewhite and Morris families would like to express their gratitude to Russell and all the staff at Lyndhurst Funeral Home.

July 18, 2024My father sadly passed away on 7/03/2022 in the UK. My siblings and I decided to take him back home to Barbados to lay him to rest. We had no idea how to start with the organisation, as we have never had to arrange a funeral. My mum who resides in Barbados suggested we use Lynhurst Funeral Home, and I remember they had done a family friends funeral; so I made contact with them. My first conversation was with Michelle, and from that day she took over the entire process for my fathers repatriation and funeral. Michelle arranged for me to have a WhatsApp contact number to communicate from the UK. She then took me through the entire process constantly checking with me, giving me ideas and suggestions, reminding me to do the things, changing things at the last minute…. Absolutely nothing was too much and she always had that gentle voice on the phone. On the day of my fathers funeral, the entire Lynhurst team were amazing. So professional but so kind and empathic. On behalf of myself and the entire Taylor family we cannot thank and recommend Lynhurst Funeral Home enough. Well done and thank you all, especially Michelle.
