I would whole heartedly recommend Lyndhurst Funeral Home. Everything was handled with great respect and sensitivity. The treatment of our loved one was excellent, from the pick-up of the deceased to the viewing and the burial. As we lived abroad, we had to start the process remotely and were kept informed every step of the way. When we arrived at Lyndhurst Funeral Home, we were given further guidance regarding the choice of Casket, the placing of the obituary and other expenses. The good advice was most welcome and made the whole process go very smoothly indeed. Russell and staff were very polite and knowledgeable. On the day of the funeral, we were picked on time and arrived at the Church in good time. After the service the burial was conducted with great sensitivity from the provision of seating, a gazebo for shade and cold water to stop the mourners from becoming dehydrated. Those who were unable to attend the funeral were able to watch the live stream or in YouTube. Every aspect of the funeral arrangements was handled extremely well. The overall service from Lyndhurst Funeral was excellent, I would recommend them to anyone who has lost a loved one as they will be well taken care of. Choosing to go with Lyndhurst was the best decision we made. From the first phone call when I spoke with Joyette, the empathy was comforting. From there on I dealt with Russell, Ann-Marie and Mezann and they have been exceptional. They have made the process easier and they make a wonderful team. Lyndhurst funeral home are professional and extremely helpful. We required the assistance of a funeral home, Lyndhurst in Barbados was recommended and the care, respect and help exceeded our expectations. Lisa helped us when dealing with the hospital, death certificate and all necessary for a funeral to take place. Our relative took ill and passed away in hospital. There were many complications as a tourist and Lisa helped us through them all. Thank you so much Lisa for your genuine care and incredible help with a difficult and upsetting experience.
