Dear Judy and Grace (and family),

I was greatly saddened to hear of your mother’s passing. She was a wonderful person and I have so many happy memories of her. Golden afternoons standing at her elbow as she prepared pudding and souse, sorrell drink and black cake - I was very little but I remember them so well. She was lovely and will be greatly missed by many.

Love to you all.

My heart goes out to Grace Judy and all of Auntie's friends. She left an indelible mark on my life. Whenever I would mention Auntie wherever I was someone would know her. - you mean Auntie Rowe from Barbados. A kind soul a giving and caring lady we all knew. Auntie has taken us on a journey that can never be duplicated. Thanks, Auntie, for everything. We will miss your ‘zaff’. Never to be forgotten.

To Judy and Grace,
On behalf of my wife Kolette and I, please accept our condolences on the passing of your mom. Auntie accepted me as a son from the first time I met her in 1987.
I’ll miss the phone conversations with her and the one question she asked me every time we spoke, ‘when you coming to see me?’
May you both find peace in knowing she’s in a place where there is no more pain or sorrow.
Bertram Mack.

Tanti as i lovingly called her was a mother a confidant a special friend to me. She had a gentle commanding spirit about her that enveloped people and drew them to her and with that she had the love and respect of all those she came in contact with. I have known Tanti for over 25 years and on my return to Trinidad I totally enjoyed calling her and chatting for hours which I will truly miss. We wanted her to live on but God had other things in store I know she is without any pain now in the arms of our Lord.
She left us Judy, Grace and her grands and great grand. To all of you may God grant you the strength and wisdom to go on at this time. My heart goes out to you and you have my deepest condolences. May God blessing you richly.
