Algernon Adolphus Sivers, affectionately known as “Ali” aged 71, of 1st Ave McClean’s Gap, Britton’s Cross Road, St. Michael entered into rest on May 23, 2023. Former joiner of Culloden Road.
Son of the late Marjorie Phillips and Darnley Archer.
Brother of Cecil (Mikey) and Michael Phillips (Canada), the late Cynthia Morris, Euclid Sivers, Marlene Patricia Parris and Margaret Sivers Phillips.
Uncle of Gregory Archer, Dale Niles, Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw, Sasha Morris, Sonia Philogene, Rendall Luke and Michael-Euclid Phillips (Canada), Trevor Clarke (New Jersey), Ashleigh and Taj Sivers.
Brother-in Law of Basil Morris, Leslie Parris, Andrew and Valrie Phillips and Harriett Harvey.
Friend of Cecil King, John Reid, Carlos Carter, Othnel Cummins, Mervyn Sandiford, Sandra Maloney and many others.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday June 9th, 2023 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Bay Street, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 am. The cortege will then proceed to the Frangipani Lawns at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. Flowers may be sent to the Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Friday. The body of the late Algernon Adolphus Sivers will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday June 8, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
