Alma Eleanor Megan Forde, of Ferndale, Welches Road, St. Michael, entered into peaceful rest on March 23, 2017. Wife of the late William DeCourtney Forde. Mother of Robert Forde, Dr. Raymond Forde and Alisa Forde-Bovell. God Mother of Dr. Jerry Emitage, Peter Symmonds Q.C, LLB, Michael Clarke and Hallam Hope. Sister of Norma Lady Osborne, George Griffith and Edward “Teddy” Griffith. Grandmother of Jonathan and James Bovell and Danielle Reid. Mother-in-law of Wayne Bovell. Sister-in-law of Linda and Olive Griffith. Dearest Friend of Phyllis Forde, Ina Inniss, Norma Monica Forde, Ada Straughn G.C.M., B.J.H. and many others. The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Thursday, March 30, 2017, for St. Michael’s Cathedral, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service. The cortege will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. The body of the late Alma Eleanor Megan Forde will repose in The Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home, today, Wednesday, March 29, 2017, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
