Dear Cecilia, 'Spriggs' , Catherine, Rhoda, Mary-Ann and the Redman Family,
Sincere Condolences on the sad, passing of an old Friend, Tony, aka 'Brother Bailey', 'Gunner Bailey ', 'Tony', confirmed on Sunday, 17/1 in a message from a sibling, in Barbados.
Tony and I met sometime in 1960, because of membership of the Church of the Nazarene, at Black Rock and in my case, Cave Hill. He actually taught me to play the mouth organ with gusto. We shared many common interests and I recollect clearly, introducing to him to colleagues at the School where I taught, in '61.
We met up in UK, in '65 when he spent a week's leave at my digs. He was with the British Army during the Malaysian campaign. He also introduced me to Church friends, now enduring friends of mine. He visited us, soon after Loretta and I were married, sometime in 1969. He was about to change his profession.
Having spoken to your Dad, Mr Redman, on a visit to Barbados, I arranged to meet with Tony and we met at our holiday residence. I was also updated on the whereabouts of his Siblings. Sadly, Your Mum, had passed on by then. As usual, it was as if we had known each other all our lives.
By sheer coincidence, Tony's name came up during a conversation with a mutual friend, before Christmas 2020! I was stunned to learn that he might have been unwell.

May Anthony J Bailey Rest in Peace from all his earthly labours and one day, Rise in Glory.
May his beloved Family be Comforted by fond memories of life with 'Brother', Dad, a caring husband and more. Psalms 116:15
