ASHLEY DEVERE MILLER, aged 53, of No. 3, 3rd Avenue, North Wildey Terrace, St. Michael, entered peacefully into rest on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
A devoted and passionate educator, Ashley served with distinction at the Arthur Smith Primary School and formerly at the Peopleโs Cathedral Primary School, Luther Thorne Memorial, Milton Lynch, Blackman &Gollop, and the Charles F. Broome Primary Schools. His legacy as an educator will live on through the countless students whose lives he touched, inspired, and shaped.
Cherished son of Emil Miller and the late Norman Gittens.
Beloved husband of Shelly Miller.
Loving father of Asha Miller (Queenโs College) and Saniya Miller (Wilkie Cumberbatch Primary School).
Brother of Sherry-Ann Blackman, Alison and Norman Gittens, David Mason, Winston Martindale, Julia Layne, Antanete Atherley, and the late Adrian Miller.
Nephew of Erma Forde, Eurie, Esther and Ormond Miller, Mrs. Beverley Cumberbatch, and others.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Collymore Rock Church of the Nazarene where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Friday. The body of the late Ashley Miller will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4:00 โ 6:00 p.m.
