Dr. Basil Jemmott
Dr. Basil James Christopher Jemmott grew up in Cave Hill, St. Michael, Barbados. Dr. Jemmott was the former Instructor 1 of the Jean & Norma Holder Hospitality Institute. He was the Assistant Director of Training-Operations of the Barbados Technical and Vocational Training Institute.
Son of the late Maizie and Oswald Jemmott.
Husband of Jacquelyn Pilgrim-Jemmott.
Father of Ethan and Gabrielle Jemmott (Canada).

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at St. Stephenโs Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. followed by the interment. Tributes will commence at 9:30 a.m. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. No mourning colours by special request. In memory of Dr. Basil Jemmott, donations will be graciously accepted to create a Foundation to spread awareness of and offer support for persons who are diagnosed with Cardiac Amyloidosis.
