Affectionately known as “Auntie Niche” formerly of 39 Highgate Gardens, Wildey, St. Michael. Retired in 2001 from the Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Transport. Daughter of the late Vivian Johnson and Esther Johnson formerly of Prospect, St. James. Sister of Victoria Scott and Julia Johnson and of the late Kenneth Johnson, Bill Johnson, Roy Johnson, Mauricio Johnson, Carmelita Heber, Beryl Hope, Juanita Bailey and Graciela Johnson. Loving aunt of Carlos Petit, Anna Donawa, Carmen Petit, Maya Joseph, Nicholas Petit-Alleyne, Ian Scott, Andrew Scott, Allan Scott, Jonathan Donawa, Jordyn Donawa and many others in Venezuela and the USA. The funeral service for the late Bernice Virginia King takes place on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Black Rock, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 9.30 am for a service of thanksgiving. A private burial will take place at a later date.
